Absence Notes - Support Ambitious About Autism's New Campaign

Today the UK charity Ambitious About Autism launched their Absence Notes campaign, a campaign aiming to shine a light on real life stories of school absence for autistic people and call the government to take action and make changes to better support autistic young people in education. According to a UK survey, 1 in 6 autistic pupils have not attended school at all since last September, a staggering 71% of autistic people say they missed some school because of a failing system and less than half of autistic children and young people say they feel happy at school - autistic young people deserve better. If you want to take action, please sign and share Ambitious About Autism's collective absence note to the government, and demand a future where every autistic pupil can thrive. You can find out more about the Absence Notes campaign and sign the petition calling the government to make changes here:  https://www.ambitiousaboutautism.org.uk/what-we-do/policy-and-campaigns/campaigns/educa...
